Why The Rush?

With a unique celestial event that is happening right now for the sky watchers out there.

It caught me off guard, Brett, as I looked up at the moon.

I was heading, I guess, due east and looked to the northeast and there was the crescent moon.

And I'm like, what's that bright light? It was like there was a streetlight on the moon.

Yeah, like a star topper, like a Christmas tree.

It's

like, what is going on? It's like, did they leave the headlights on the moon? Buggy or like what's what's the it's Jupiter.

Yeah, it's a what do they call it? There's a word they call it an occultation.

Oh, yeah.

An occultation because would have picked the correct.

Definition of occultation on the SAT or similar.

Never, ever have I seen that word before.

I have, but not in this particular context, I think.

I don't know.

But yeah, it was neat.

I was sitting in my cab and I look up.

So we're driving down Osborne and I look to my right and I see the crescent moon and I see this...

this little piece of light directly above the moon.

So I scrambled to try to get a picture of this in a moving cab.

Did a pretty good job.

Yeah.

I managed to, well, I, the first one I took, I actually got one, but then I was able to get a pic of it when we were sitting on York at the red light at Memorial.

Okay.

So I was able to get, uh, and it would turn, I'm going to endeavor to get that posted on my Instagram this morning.

Um, And then when I go outside here at Portage and Main and look up to the east, you can see it clear.
