And it's always better to look for meteor showers, like pre-dawn hours, you know, that you happen to see more most of the time.

Now, onto another favorite event in astronomy, and this is meteor showers.

Now, most people, I think, totally overestimate what they're seeing when they're watching a meteor shower.

And this premiered November 16th, 2009.

Yeah, so we find out more than we ever wanted to about these characters because Leonard, Raj, and Howard are going to see the Leonid meteor shower and they stumble upon some cookies that make them forget all about the meteor shower.

We'll leave it at that for now.

Then, in what is, I completely forgot these two storylines were in the same episode and I was delighted.

While this is happening, Leonard, Howard, and Raj have gone on this camping trip, which is very funny to see them in that situation.

Let me just say that.

But they're going to see this meteor shower, which...

I'm going to talk about more in history highlights, a little spoiler, but it is, it's a pretty regular occurrence.

So, uh, I actually went online a couple years ago and I found, uh, some videos from the, uh, the meteor storm from 2001, and that was really cool to see that some people actually were able to capture it.

Because obviously this was the, the early days of digital video, and I don't think too many people were out there, uh, with film video cameras, you know, recording meteor showers.

But there are some videos out there, so if you ever wanna kinda see what I was talking about, go look up the 2001 Leonids on YouTube and you will, uh, surely find some results.

But, uh, to that end, um, we had the Perseids a few weeks ago, and they actually peaked overnight, uh, the 12th through the 13th.

so Lila said I was going to bed at maybe I mean I go to bed late anyway it's going to bed at like half 12 my daughter's even later and I say night Lila night and um should you staying up to watch the meteor shower and I said what time is it should 2 a.m I said absolutely not good night

No, I mean, we saw about, I think we saw about 15, 20, just going over, massive ones as well.
