Dale HellestraeGuestBut the political angles of what goes on with athletes and how much we ask them to do in politics and use your platform and all that stuff.
But when they make mistakes doing it, they get held to a certain standard that's just simply not fair.
During the bubble year, COVID, the NBA had all that crap on their jerseys and all the statements, and you could not deviate from that.
We're all in it together, which is a nice message, but, I mean, it's, you know, whatever it is.
Turns out we are five years now removed from COVID's kind of effect on us, and Aaron Rodgers and Kyrie Irving were right.
And it doesn't mean they handled it well, and it doesn't mean that you can't give grace to people who didn't like what they did.
But in retrospect, you go back and you say, and I got to give it to Stephen A. Smith, who actually did apologize to Kyrie for being so tough on him, saying the NBA owes him money.
He was losing a game check for every time he said, I don't want to take a shot because my boss says so.
