You should know that because I only read the first like top line of them, like the first couple of paragraphs.

But at least it like said somewhere in the beginning or it was indicated like, oh, Home Alone story.

My mom had gone grocery shopping for the day, and she asked if I wanted to come, and I remember making a big stink about it and not wanting to.

It was a warm, sunny afternoon, and I just wanted to stay home and shoot some hoops in the street.

I told her nothing bad would happen, and she would only be gone for a couple of hours, so she finally gave in and let me stay.

As soon as she pulled out of the driveway, I grabbed the old basketball from the garage and I started shooting around the street where we had the hoop set up.

I was sweating a little, running back and forth, and at one point I stopped to catch my breath.

I bounced the ball lazily and looked around the neighborhood as I caught my breath.

It was only a shadow behind the glass at first, like someone was standing back from the sunlight.

I stared for a good second or two before the shape shifted slightly, and I realized it wasn't some kind of trick of the sun.
