I think the most concerning thing that I saw in this game was that the Browns' defense looked way worse than I expected it to be.

We had some very sharp previews, some very sharp thoughts, and the kind of consensus opinion was that this defense, even without Garrett, still had a lot of good pieces and was still going to be able to be somewhat competitive.

They gave up 10 yards of pass to Trevor Lawrence, and his receivers running wide open.

Had this as one of the four screens up during the early slate, and every time I looked down, it was guys running wide open.

And so while I do kind of have a takeaway here that this defense looked a lot worse than I expected it to, being put in that game state so quickly against a very good game plan from Liam Cohen, that was a very tough spot for them to be in when there was zero support from the offense.
