Monday Preview - NFL Week 6

Started off what seems like an eternity ago.

Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Jags win 1917 in London.

It was a long, cam, little kick to win.

Number from 2.5 on the open to as high as 8.

It was one-way money on Jacksonville all week long.

And in many ways...

Not validated.

I think when you look at who the Eagles actually ended up trotting out, you see the Jags outgain Philly 408 to 232.

You see the Jags a plus net 7% on success rate, beat the Eagles by 2.1 net yards per play.

It was a very, very one-sided game that the Jaguars certainly deserved to win.

The cover stretches that a little bit based on the box score.

Jacksonville certainly deserved a lot better than 1917.

But when you watch out that game and see how it played out with a eight-second remaining kickoff from the Eagles resulting in a big return and then a Cam Littlefield goal with one second left, you might look and say the Eagles were not deserving of the win.

My stance on the game is that the Eagles' offense...

I mean, I don't care how you were watching that game.

There were problems coming in.

There are still problems there.

And it goes beyond just not having Barkley and not having Smith.

Those guys come back.

It's not fixed.

There is serious play calling issues.

And that second half offense, I saw a tweet from an Eagles fan that charted.

I don't know how he did this, but he charted every Eagles offense in the second half of games for the last 25 years.

And the Eagles offense in the second half against the Jags ranked at the bottom of all of those offenses.

It was an atrocious performance from the Eagles offensively.
