And you, you, your book's called Layered, uh, Leadership, and I guess that's where the, the term comes on maybe.
And, and really quite the same as I was mentioning, I, I'm an artist and I'm an abstract artist, and everything I do and I study as an artist is this conceptual study of layers.
And so I see space in layers, whether it's the natural or built environment, and I see, you know, leadership strategies in the same way, and definitely my art because art has no limits.
So, you know, it, it's the theme I've chosen to pursue in, in my art, but it takes on many...
it manifests in many different ways, and it, it kind of opens my mind to possibilities in other aspects of my life as well.
You have client, you have the program, what, what you're trying to design.
You have the client wishes, you have building codes, you have mechanical, electrical engineering, all kinds of constraints that you have to design around.
And so what I've discovered is that, and I always say this, that being an artist made me a better CEO and being a CEO made me a better artist because I think that, you know, it in- the art inspires you to think differently and to challenge yourself and to work on areas where maybe you're not as strong.
And so all of those things combined, I think, you know, kind of translated into making me a better CEO, I think, and thinking differently about problem solving and strategies and people development actually.
And on the other side of it, you know, my art career took off because, you know, I'm a business person and I have a lot of marketing expertise and, and so my art has, you know, I've been very fortunate to have a, a nice art career too, but mainly I think because I know how to promote it.
