Special guest Tayla Vlaeminck, Molly Strano reveals her GOAT of the World

Wow.

Well, there is a lot of cricket to come and a lot to play.

Give us the broad picture of the season ahead because there's WNCL already underway.

We've got Bangladesh coming for the ODIs, New Zealand for the T20s, the Spring Challenge, and then the WBBL.

And we're going to follow all of it here on The Scope.

But give me your take on the season ahead, Molly.

Yeah, it's busy, isn't it? Especially October.

The Australian women have six games in the month of October.

So that's nice to see them back on home shores.

We haven't seen them play in Australia since they won the World Cup at Lourdes, which we could have a whole episode talking about that too, Rana.

I think we should.

Or just a phone call after this.

So that's exciting, a busy sort of international schedule there.

But domestically, there's a lot on too.

We have Spring Challenge that starts on the 12th of October, the WBBL, which starts on the 29th of October, doubleheader at the Junction Oval to get things started under the new lights at JO as well.

So night cricket's now in Victoria, which is really cool.

So yeah, plenty to talk about and plenty to look forward to.

But

people

who don't know, take us through what the Spring Challenge actually is.

And it's kind of going to be a feeder now into the WBBL, isn't it?

Yeah, I've always been a massive fan of the Spring Challenge.

It provides players with a full dress rehearsal opportunity before the WBBL.

But the other cool element to it is that every team has one spot on their WBBL roster.

and teams can't fully sign up players until after the Spring Challenge.
