Joining me, as always, is my co-host, Seth Cox from RevengeoftheBirds.com, SB Nation's Arizona Cardinals site.

And I mean, on paper, Seth, I don't know what to expect from this game because we know the Cardinals are bad defensively and the Cowboys have an incredible offense in terms of skill players and abilities and they seem to have found it after beating Philadelphia.

And the fact that the Cardinals, there is some mojo the Cardinals now have over the Cowboys.

So I don't know what to think of this game, but the Dallas Cowboys are a very intriguing matchup this week because of the talent that they have, but they still can't manage to get things together.

Yeah, and you look at what they've done this year in terms of offense versus defense, and you kind of hit the nail on the head.

You look at their offense, and it's been downright good to borderline uh great this year fifth in points per game uh tenth in yards per game their fourth i believe in passing or sorry seventh and passing offense um but 25th and rushing yards even though they run the ball at a consistent clip they just don't run the ball very often right like They are 28th in rushing attempts versus 4th in passing attempts.

And a lot of that comes down to game script, right? They've struggled to maintain the ability to lead games.

In this season, you know, they're sixth in yards per attempt at 4.7 yards per attempt.

So those things all add up to what you're seeing, which is fifth in points for, 23rd in points against, 29th in yards against.

And I know that it's tough to reconcile this sometimes, but I think this is what Cardinals fans were hoping to see this year.

Like, hey, we can accept having a really inept defense because we know that behind the scenes there were a couple offers that didn't get taken, that they had to run it back with Nick Rallis.

They didn't go out and you know, a prime JJ Watt and a prime Fred Warner, right? Like they didn't sign anybody.

So I think, you know, if the results have been similar to, what we're seeing with the cowboys in terms of like you said terrible defense top let's say 10 offense probably closer to top seven but we'll say top 10 offense i think everybody would be like hey this is great um you know the floor hire was a home run that they've got all these pieces they're built but instead you're like bad offense and putrid defense and you're like well this is not what i signed up for i did not sign up for the worst defense in the nfl and a bottom you know eight to ten offense in the nfl and so you know you you look at it we look at it and you go okay um And they stopped the Cowboys.
