Hello, Arizona Cardinals fans, and welcome to the latest edition of the Rise Up Sierra podcast, the best of Cardinals talk on the web.

The Cardinals and the Broncos play this weekend, 4.05 Eastern, 1.05 Arizona time at State Farm Stadium.

It's a big game for a lot of reasons, but this is one of those games that we need the home team in because it's an important game because the halftime, Larry Fitzgerald being honored, having his number retired, being inducted into the Ring of Honor.

It's the one time The Cardinals fans didn't get to say goodbye to him because he just walked away from the game with no fanfare after a COVID year where no one was in the stadium.

The thing that I'm a little worried about is that there's going to be a whole bunch of blue and orange in that stance.

Not that they're not going to cheer Larry because everyone loves Larry Fitzgerald, but It's big for the Cardinals, big for Larry Fitzgerald.

And the Cardinals, really, between this week and next week, against a team in the Dallas Cowboys that struggles defensively, the

Yeah, and that's the thing with this game, is this could be a game where we see the Arizona Cardinals completely destroyed.

disintegrate all the goodwill that they got from last week or that they build on it and and you know those that that stretch of games where they were just outclassed is actually um It's just something that nothing can, you know, we don't have to worry about anymore.

So I don't want to obviously compare eras, and obviously the offense is... not anywhere near this but you know bruce arian started what two and six that year or whatever um obviously a lot of differences in terms of arian's personality his experience blah blah blah just saying like we've seen things like this happen in the past it's it's just unlikely if you will to to to do it again however it is interesting to like just look at the fact that if they win this game three and four you're you're very much in the hey this could you know like you said get to four and four this could get to you know

that would be like the because the the cardinals started out three and two then lost two in a row three and four and then one they in 2013 they started three and four under Bruce Arians, and then got to four and four with the bye week, then rattled off three straight wins after that.
