We're getting started on Horror Movie Month a little early this year. First up is FRIGHT NIGHT - a 1985 genre-defying film starring Chris Sarandon, Roddy McDowall, William Ragsdale and Amanda Bearse…
So let's talk about the characters.
Yeah.
We have Charlie, who's the teenager that lives next door to Jerry Dandridge, the vampire.
Mm-hmm.
And I noticed he keeps binoculars right by his window.
Charlie's a creep, isn't he? I feel like he spies on people.

me, that's just a really, really convenient movie trope.
It's for the other.
No teenage boy keeps binoculars.
I can see if this was a sex comedy, like Porky's or something like that.
Yeah.
The horny teenager who's spying on the hot girl.
yeah next door but it's like if they're next door to you you don't really need binoculars you know like they're close enough

No, because they were watching the news the next day and they talked about
a...
I think they said,
yeah, they called her a prostitute, was murdered or got murdered.
So you can figure it was him.
He's a serial killer.
