You don't see him, you just see his hand on the chair.
PaulHOST
This is a great scene.
PaulHOST
Chris Sarandon is fantastic as Jerry Dandridge in this movie.
PaulHOST
He's charming, while at the same time, there's this undercurrent of menace to everything that he says.
Andrew LindeHOST
He wants to take over the town.
Andrew LindeHOST
It's like, yeah, that's what Jerry's doing.

Jason ColvinHOST
Lots of fun.
Jason ColvinHOST
Chris Sarandon is fantastic as the Jerry Dandridge vampire.
Jason ColvinHOST
At the time, he and Susan Sarandon were married, and they read it, and he's like, man, I don't want to play a vampire.
Jason ColvinHOST
And then he read the script, and he's like, this is fantastic.
B-Show BrianHOST
You have to have faith for that to work.
B-Show BrianHOST
Jerry Dandridge, that laugh, always cringe-inducing.
B-Show BrianHOST
It's like a Ricky Ricardo style.
B-Show BrianHOST
Sorry, that was mixing our dates.
StephenHOST
I feel like that's a – it, it was a big risk for one, because you have so many popular vampires and lines.
StephenHOST
Like, I mean, uh, Jerry Dandridge, you know, like welcome to fright night, you know, like, and you know, all the different, like they're only noodles, Michael, like there's so many iconic vampire lines and for her not to have any, like makes it iconic, you know? And she does such a good job of being this, like, stoic you know menace and evil I love it yeah it was really cool I wasn't sure I think maybe that was like part of the reason why like I held off like I was like she seems like such a like Andy Warhol-esque like art vampire that like never felt scary it just felt like over the top like 80s fashion culture that I was just like I don't know it doesn't seem like a vampire villain but she's so cool
TimHOST
Yeah, I agree 100%.
TimHOST
It was one of those things that my biggest complaint, and I'll kind of touch on a lot of moments here, so I'm going to be jumping around a little bit, but my biggest complaint about the film and my only complaint about the film was I felt like I wanted a bigger showdown with her, but it worked out for me because...
Brian WhiteHOST
She didn't stand out in my memory for any movie that I could think of, but as it would happen, she's just a pretty solid chameleon.
Brian WhiteHOST
She is most notable for her role as Jerry Dandridge's sister vampire, Regine, in the better than it has any right to be Fright Night 2.
Brian WhiteHOST
She also appears in, as we said, Night of the Jungler and also Gloria, the latter being a very violent, intense John Cassavetes movie starring his wife, Gina Rollins.
Dave WhiteHOST
Wait, what was the last one?
ChanceHOST
there.
Doughboy FreshHOST
Real quick, who did it better? The Lost Boys David versus Fright Night Jerry Dandridge.
Doughboy FreshHOST
Both make becoming a vampire look dangerously tempting before showing you the monster underneath.
Doughboy FreshHOST
Who did it better? Kiefer Sutherland's rebellious gang leader or Chris Sarandon's seductive next door predator? Chris Sarandon.
John RainHOST
So he leaves.
John RainHOST
And then before he leaves, he says to him, he says, Jerry Dandridge is a vampire.
John RainHOST
And he goes, sure, kid.
John RainHOST
And I'm Dirty Harry, which I remember being in all the trailers.
50 MINS LATER
John RainHOST

Dan TetsellGUEST

John RainHOST
