Welcome back to Republic of Texas Radio.

I am your guest host today for Aaron's show, filling in for Steve O'Brien.

I want to say again, a special thanks.

I appreciate the opportunity and, um, support RBN.

I was thinking on the way in as well about, you know, RBN is a very special place.

There's nothing else quite like RBN, not even close, I think.

And, uh, The fact that it has done this this long, some of the great hosts it's had over the years, and I used to take a walk at 6 p.m. every evening for years and tune in to John Stattmiller.

I think at that time he was on 6 to 8, but don't hold me to it.

But anyway, I really enjoyed, learned a lot from John.

I enjoyed, too, his, you know, If you got him riled up, you got what you got.

He didn't hold back.

I don't think John Stattmiller was known for holding back, but sometimes that was the best part of my day, was listening to John and the phone callers in the evenings, Monday through Friday.
