614: That's People

So, yeah, I launched this site about a week or so ago.

And I don't know.

So, yeah, people keep saying, well, how do you have the time to do this? Because I have written a lot.

I've probably written a little bit too much on it.

You're going to run out of indie developers.

Oh, my God.

If nothing else, the fact that I'm doing indie developer spotlights has made me more friends than anything I've ever done because they are all writing to me.

So I will never...

Are they your friends? No.

I will not run out for about 17 years based on my inbox volume.

No, that's not true.

I love the people reaching out.

It's funny because every day I delay some because I realize that I've slated a couple for the same day.

And I'm like, no, let's not do that.

Let's phase them out.

And then today I wrote a couple things.

I was like, okay, well, what about as we're talking? I have one about Greg Pierce that was going to go yesterday.

It was going to go today and it'll go tomorrow.

But anyway, I don't know.

I was saying to Jason Snell, I never finished this song, that it turns out I am... really really well suited to my consulting work because i'm really really good at time management and time compartmentalization and like they say that humans are not actually good at multitasking even though we like to but what i have been doing is basically like hey let me get this thing going over in xcode and now let me do this client work and then i've taken notes as i've been thinking about a thing and now i'll write this into an article i don't know it's i have no great explanation it's just it's how my brain works and i like to keep myself busy in those ways

My question was, how long would you say was the elapsed time from, hey, I should start a tech blog to actually putting the site up and publishing your first post?
