Aliens

This is Igris, and today we are going to talk about aliens.

I'll tell you why we're gonna talk about aliens today, of all things, aliens.

Uh, it's because somebody wrote into the website, actually.

They were asking for letters on space travel and Moon landings, and, uh, I guess I may be adding to their request with my own passions, my own strange passions.

But, uh, I guess that also includes aliens, life on other planets.

Uh, I started doing the research for these shiurim, and I realized that we can do aliens as its own thing and return to the Moon landing and space travel next time.

So believe it or not, there, next time we're going to talk about space travel and the Moon landing and, uh, what the Rebbe had to do with all of that, what he had to say about all of that.

But today, uh, I just wanna talk about the Rebbe's letters and sichas on aliens, and believe it or not, we have a couple.

The, uh, Rebbe, as you'll see, does not at all rule out the possibility of life on other planets, but he has some rules both about what they could be like within the confines of Torah and, as we'll see in our first letter, rules about how often he wants us talking about them and for what purpose.
