my first one with a hand call you know when it's funny because now that I tell people when they're getting into it, I'm like, go learn a hand call.
And I didn't, no one told me to go learn a hand call because my buddy had a Fox pro and I didn't really get into hand calling until hanging out with Rusty.
So I had to learn fast and I think we were out filming in Nevada one time and he, he says, he split me up and he's, I can't remember what year it was, but he, we split up and he says, yeah, I'm going to go on this side of the road.
And all we had was hand calls and I ended up calling a coyote shooting and he got, I didn't hear you shoot.
And we ended up winning that contest with twenty seven coyotes in a day and a half.
Yeah.
authentic sound that some of those wood calls and like Carrie Carver calls that's Carrie sponsored us for that contest actually, and sent us a whole bunch of calls, but anything that's fun like that.
And with just a closed read or an open read, if you can blow it, it just sounds so different.
You're the tones you can make the temp, the, what do they call it? The cadence, the speed that you can, you know, play that sound at is just something different like if we've had days where hand calls are the only thing that work and we've tested that me and rusty have actually tested that on hunts so yeah that's when i killed my first one was probably i want to say that was probably 2016 2015
so yeah i've been looking at getting some some more hand calls we uh we've just had this one hand call i don't a long time uh and we've just only used that one ever do you have any suggestions which one do you have i don't even know what it is all the lettering's all rubbed off of it's just a clear little three and a half inch tube
