What we're reviewing is a Shaw 22 inch stainless spiral flute barrel for the six millimeter advanced rifle cartridge.

This started for me a few years ago when a bunch of new rounds dropped around Shot Show.

The six arc, been around since 2020 but i was hesitant to jump on any new brand that had dropped a lot of people got burned on the 20 224 valkyrie and the last thing i needed was another new rounder to reload for but after a few years of sorting through reviews of different rounds and then getting the chance to meet the guy from shaw barrels at gun con 2025 I asked the folks there if they might be interested in coming on the show.

At that time, I just finished up a 6.5 Grendel pistol and wanted to kind of compare the two.

last year was probably one of the funniest Kara was like so wait you know who that guy was I was like yeah that's a buddy of mine you know whether it was you or Dooley or anybody else and then you guys come back and she'd be like oh they actually look like your friends they're not just like people you know and I was like yeah they're actually my friends that's why they keep coming back and hanging out and bullshitting with us because you know if we're slow and bored they're slow and bored too because they've seen shit or there's nothing new to see it's like yeah so we like to hang out

I was at SHOT Show with them once and I think one of them said to me, they're like... you're just not super excited about shooting machine guns.

I go, well, I've shot like almost every type of machine gun that I've really wanted to.

I got introduced to it.

They sent me an email right before SHOT Show actually this year.

Right before SHOT Show this year, they sent me an email, told me to meet them at Industry Day at the Range.

I met up with them, and they gave me their hearing protection and their eye protection set up.

And as I stated before, eye protection, when you're wearing, like, amplified hearing protection like clamshells that go over your ears like muffs.

And then that product is being consistently used through this series.

Now, this isn't just a one or two off show.

We're going to be doing this Quest tomorrow, and it's going to be probably about six months with two shows every week, except for probably during SHOT Show in January.

Two of the products that we're doing reviews on coming up, there should be one tomorrow, we're going to be doing the MagnaLens and the DACA system.

now the docket system is for organization and the magna lens is for safety now we talked about hearing protection and eye protection and there's videos that we i've already talked about the magna lens setup and what i've loved about it um i got introduced to it they sent me an email right before shot show last uh this um actually this year Right before SHOT Show this year, they sent me an email, told me to meet them at Industry Day at the Range.

That's going to be our strategic pause as we go to SHOT Show and talk to our vendors and so forth.

We have more firearms and ammunition manufacturers per capita than any other state in the country.

We go down to the SHOT Show in Vegas every winter, and we usually recruit a couple handful more.

These are good jobs.

They're machining jobs.

First, I want to tell you, we're going to be in November here in about just a few days.

That gives you only a couple of months to get ready your wish list to go to the SHOT Show down in Vegas.

I know you love going there.

Now, I would imagine – and I was trying to think this through when I found this article this morning.

I would imagine that they would probably have shooting conventions, kind of like the SHOT Show.

in Las Vegas? I'd hope so.

Yeah, I would hope so, right? You need a pretty big space to do that.
