The Future of US-Israel Relations?

We have... just had a quote-unquote peace agreement type deal, a memorandum of understanding between the IRGC and President Trump.

Lebanon was mentioned in it, but Israel was not.

There's a lot of interesting things that are kind of floating around the news.

But I think...

It's important that we kind of put this entire moment into context, right? About a year ago from this time is when the beginnings of the direct attacks from Israel and the United States on Iran took place with Operation Rising Lion and Operation Midnight Hammer.

So before we kind of get into how Israelis are feeling in this current moment, if maybe both of you can just give a little bit of context of what has this last year in Israel been like?

Since October 7th, Israel has been involved in a multi-front war.

And what we've seen since President Trump has returned to office in Rising Lion, Midnight Hammer, and then perhaps even more so in Epic Fury War, Lion in February, was unprecedented cooperation between the United States and Israel in ways that were very beneficial to both countries.

And We can get into the MOU and the situation in Lebanon, but overall, Israel's determination in that fight since October 7th and the cooperation between the United States and Israel has certainly made Israel more secure and safer than ever before.

So despite the challenges, overall, when you take a step back, the situation here is quite good, certainly as compared to where we were on October 7th.

Sure, that

makes a lot of sense.

think we can also say that since October 7th, A lot has happened that we never expected.

Israel showed enormous strength in all the arenas.

And especially before President Trump came back into office, there was enormous pressure on Israel from the Biden administration not to take such action.

The Biden administration said, don't go into Rafah.

We went into Rafah.

They said, don't go into Lebanon.

We went into Lebanon.

They said, don't attack Iran.

We attacked Iran.

And It was mostly Israel doing its work during that period.

We were doing the work of the whole Western world, but it was on our shoulders.

And when President Trump came back into office in January 2025, that transformed into not just something that Israel was doing and leading the charge on, but it transformed into the best organization.
