We'll have different enclaves and it'll be miserable.

I mean, there was a time in the past people used to refer to Beirut as

Paris of the Middle East.

Yes.

I think we can now refer to Paris as the Beirut of Europe.

But we're all going to have to live like the Lebanese at this rate.

We're all going to have to live like them.

Iran is the greatest funder of terrorism in the world, and their number one arm for terrorism is Hezbollah.

You guys have probably heard of that, independent of how much you follow international affairs in the Middle East, right? So Hezbollah, one of their biggest bases is in Lebanon, which the capital of Lebanon is Beirut.

It's right there.

It's close to israel and hezbollah is largely taking control of lebanon there's no way around it but but as i have a number of a number of uh jurisdictions right they're taking control of of uh what was Palestine and everything else, and they're just at permanent war against Israel and the U.S., and they are trained, funded, and backed by Iran, which is the number one exporter of terror.

But here's what's significant, what we're here to talk about today is It is so bold and so brazen that Hezbollah, or let me say it this way, a big truck gets stopped in Lebanon.

It's heading from a heavily Hezbollah-controlled area of Lebanon to Beirut, the capital.

And on that truck is 1,000 pounds of explosives, C2, TNT, you know, really severe plastic explosives, military grade, no way around it.

So a truck gets caught, and traditionally we hear something like that.

He is most closely associated with two of the doctrines that have really defined Israel's military policies in a way, you know, for the last decade.

One is the Dahya Doctrine, which he himself Paul, the use of disproportionate force against areas of Lebanon outside Beirut that are sheltering Hezbollah, and the campaign between wars, which was a sort of covert ongoing war against Iranian assets and mostly in Syria and Lebanon.

Nobody can say that he is going to somehow... you know, give up on Israeli security.

Never mind, Netanyahu is trying.

there's that.

And then this past Friday, which would have been October, the 23rd was the 43rd anniversary of, uh, the Marine barracks being bombed in Beirut, Lebanon.

Um, that, that, that plays pretty close here in, in, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, the area that I'm in, um, because the battalion landing team that was on deck for, for Beirut was first time, eighth Marines.

And, um, I deployed Afghanistan with them in 2012 and they, they still go by the Beirut battalion.

That's, that's part of their lineage.

Even it was horrific events that happened.

So just a few days ago.

was the anniversary of where 241 U.S. service members, 220 of them were Marines, 18 sailors, three soldiers, were killed in a bombing in Beirut, a terrorist bombing in Beirut.

And this was led by the same group of Ayatollahs and terrorists and the same ideology in the Middle East going back to 1983.

So all those years ago, right, all those years ago, this has been going on.

And so if this president says to people, his voting demographic, which are people my age, people your age, people that are voting and old enough to remember some of these things, if they say the Beirut bombing happened that, you know, in 83 today, this is the anniversary.

We are still seeing the same terrorist regime with the same terrorist ideas, and we've got to stop it.

So we're going to do whatever we have to do.

And I give you credit for the storytelling.

It's not easy to stitch this all together, given all the different personalities, people, events that are happening, Washington to Jerusalem, Beirut to Iran.

I mean, Gaza, it's pretty challenging, I would think, in terms of just how to actually write this.

You know, but you remember points in the book.
