Become INVISIBLE to Hackers | Graeme Speak, VanishingPoint | Orange Brick Road Podcast

Yeah, great.

Well, a couple of things on that is, you know, although, you know, I run a crypto business and this is a crypto show, it is for crypto users, but it's also for anyone that uses the internet as well.

It is.

Yeah.

Especially if you're doing banking online or just your emails, just your audio privacy.

I did want to ask you, when you say a virtual machine, what is a virtual machine?

So virtual machine, I use this term because essentially we are building completely new machines, the same as you would install on your own physical hardware, but we do it inside a virtualized environment in the cloud.

I mean, the cloud is literally, if you walk into our data centers, it's physical machines sitting there, but running hundreds or more users in their own individual machines inside a single physical machine.

Okay.

Virtualized environment is completely vanilla for the road in terms of tech these days.

Everybody uses virtual machines.

From a user's point of view, you're getting the more technical term here now is a container, which is your unique workspace.

It is isolated.

It is a hardened operating system.

We're using free and open source software.

So this is, you know, the way this is technology that the internet has developed foundation on it's vetted by the industry to say yeah these are the latest and most secure tools that are actually out there and so we basically bring this together in a form that you can access it literally with a click in fact it's one one tap on your phone without you installing or configuring anything so it's so simple to use yeah

Okay, we're going to be doing a demo in a bit to sort of run because what I like about it is it's user-friendly.

You don't have to be, you know, a bloody developer or have your head around like cybersecurity and, you know, go nuts like you are.

So it is built for normal people like myself.

Okay, but why do we need this? I mean, especially going forward with technology and AI and the hacks that are happening and all that sort of stuff.

This helps avoid all this.

So why do people, not just for crypto, but just for business in general or being online, why do people need this product?

Yeah, great.
