Yeah, definitely exciting, um, and, uh, getting it, uh, early, um, so that, uh, associations and teams can plan.

But, uh, essentially, a, a select number of teams within the NOHA and across the province are going to continue the pilot whereby, um, teams will transition to, uh, full ice hockey, uh, earlier on this season, um, which is obviously going to be evaluated over the next two years as to whether it should be something that is permanent or not.

And obviously this, this pilot is, is, um, it goes to appease the individuals that wanna see more full ice hockey.

W- also keeping in mind the, the firm belief and, and science-backed stance that, that Hockey Canada possesses, that, uh, half ice and, um, scaled hockey is, is very important for, to the development of kids, and I think, um, people are getting the best of both worlds.

And, and of course, um, underneath, under the governance of, uh, the NOHA, OHF, and Hockey Canada, we can see a great program out of this.

So I'm definitely excited to continue the work on the pilot and, uh, and see if it, uh, can involve into something great here.

Absolutely, and, and I think it's important to, to acknowledge that, uh, we're talking about just one part, part of it, uh, with respect to the games.

But, uh, there's various standards in place as well in terms of practice to game ratio, which, uh, I know Hockey Canada is, uh, is very, uh, committed to, uh, ensuring that that remains into place, and, uh, you know, providing coaches with resources, um, evaluating how the players are improving over the course of the season, which is something that's been available in the past, but, uh, something that, uh, you know, is going to be required as part of the, the entire process.

So, um, there's lots of, you know, development aspects aside from the game piece, which is, uh, I know from our end, um, and, and based on feedback that we received last year, I think is extremely, uh, extremely positive.
