Everyone in Sandra Birchmore's Department Moved the Same Direction on Her Case

Rules didn't apply to him.

And an interesting tell I saw this morning when I was doing a piece on this, it came to me from the COVID mask.

And take the arguments of COVID masks for, against at the time.

I'm not talking about that.

What I'm talking about in that case is the department at the moment in time, we were at the height of COVID, they had a mask policy.

And it was you wear a fucking mask.

This is it is what it is.

I'm not here to debate right or wrong.

That's not the point of it.

He never did.

And it was known around the department that Matthew did not follow that rule, despite it being a policy.

He just did not.

But then when he shows up to the house to allegedly murder her that night, he's wearing the mask.

He's got a hoodie on, clearly, obviously, to disguise himself.

But the fact that he was defying that rule to the department all that time, it says me one thing.

Rules don't apply to him.

Yep.

Yeah.

I agree.

But I think when we heard the testimony yesterday, I think a lot of cops in that department weren't wearing the mask.

What's more significant to me, and I'm talking about in the department itself,

Obviously, a lot of the people in the department, rules didn't apply to them either.

If they're all in agreement in the department, we're with each other every day.

This is kind of like our bubble.

We'll consider our bubble.
