John Rodgers, Vermont Lt Governor, joins Kurt & Anthony to discuss his re election campaign.
John RodgersGuestKurtHostAnthonyHostAll right, so Lieutenant Governor Rogers.
First of all, we've got a lot of issues we're going to get into one week from today.
But give us the state of the campaign.
We hear state of the union, state of the city, state of the state.

You know, they can choose me, a person who's had vast experience in politics, in local politics, serving my municipality, serving in the House, serving in the Senate, now here in the lieutenant governor's office actually doing the work.

Plus my experience on the ground in the real world, doing construction work, farming, logging.

You know, I am just like most Vermonters out there, busting my butt six or seven days a week to try to make a living and keep up with the cost of living here.

And, you know, I have an opponent with no experience in the legislature, no experience in municipal government.

And, you know, Offering people free programs with no plan on how to pay for them, I think is just irresponsible.
well, and before we go further, which we will, of course, we've got a full hour, Anthony is the one that alerted me to this, and I did not hear it, I'm sorry to say, because I just was not able to.
Yeah, that was great.
Great visit with Howie.
He was funny.
The setup, when I get in the car and I turn it on, and I'm listening to Howie, and he goes, and I don't normally talk about, particularly lieutenant governor's races, and particularly in Vermont, and my ears just went...
And then he set it up.
The setup was great.
And I was like, oh, hey, you got quite a bit of time with Howie.
