So we're gonna talk about, um, the concept of people giving and whether or not they have an expectation of something in return.

And, um, it's become a very interesting, um, ki- sort of question to me, and I didn't broadly apply it in the beginning, but it's, um, uh, it's very interesting to think about just life in general.

And you know, we think about life, life to, for the most part is at some level transactional, right?

Well, the expectation is that when we get home somebody's gonna cook dinner or we're gonna cook din- you know, I mean, very basic things like that.

So we're gonna have some fun today talking about, um, whether or not when people give things and they say they give them without an expectation, whether or not that's a real thing.

Um, but like I said a minute ago, most re- relationships feel at least transactional and, um, at, at some level things run on some level of exchange.

And so the question is whether or not true selfless giving is real, or it's something we just like to think about ourselves that we do that.

So I am a, I'm a proud product of Oral Roberts University, the fine institution a number of miles south of where you and I sit.

I went there in a very, um, uh, unusual time in the school's history, transitioning from Oral, the founder, to his son, Richard.
