It seems pretty obvious to a lot of people that you're driven by conscience, issues of conscience.

I mean, even recently, the Home Sweet Home campaign, you were front and center there.

At the dark end of the street.
Well, I mean, because every year we go busking, and every year we do some gigs.
It just sort of worked out that in the last sort of five or six years, every time I play around Christmas, we give the money to something.
Living in darkness to hide our wrong.
You and me.

But what it does is getting all the musicians that we know to come in on Christmas Eve and sing a few songs for a couple of hours on Grafton Street sets a consciousness in the country that's got to do with, "You know what? I must do- I must donate this year."
But darling, our love, our love will carry on.
Just steal away.
And, and I suppose last year, I found myself hanging out with friends and people who were like, "Wouldn't it be great to do something pract- something that's actually, you know-"
And of course, I, I, when you really look at the situation, you go to yourself, "Well, okay, there are many NGOs now in the homeless industry.
But if the government was doing the job that the government are given charge to do, then there wouldn't be the charities.
There would be equality and, and of course, people will always make poor choices.
