I immediately realized, get a job offer from my cousin to sell pest control, which sounds like the worst job on the planet.

I worked as a lifeguard in high school and it was fun.

I've worked with a lot of my friends, it's a pretty chill job.

But my cousin's like, hey, last summer, after he had served a two-year church mission, which is pretty popular here in Utah, he um, you know, his football captain in high school recruited him to go to St. Louis, Missouri, or, or can,

And in three and a half months, I sold 288 residential annual pest control contracts and made $44,000.

And he's like, I did so well.

I'm actually, I got promoted to lead a team this next year where I get paid depending on how well I do.

I get to pay a higher commission.

Plus I get paid depending on how well my team does.

And he's like, I think I can make 200 to 300 grand.

But he's like, I made a list of all the guys that I thought would do well in my network.

And he's like, you're at the top of the list.

And he was probably saying this to everyone.

It sounds like a really good sales pitch.

Yeah.

But he was like, hey, you know how to work hard and you're decent at talking to people.

You should come out and do this with me.

And at first I was like.

Heck no.

Like good for you for making 44 grand.

I want to do business.

I want to be successful, but I'm not willing to do that.
