Hello listeners, Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a hitman for a child? Have you ever had a really crappy upbringing, and then lose the one person you love? Have you possibly drank…
Like, I thought this was going to be one of those films that's like,
eh,
you know, because I didn't know John Reno.
I didn't know Natalie Portman.
So seeing her and what, what was fun to me was when I had first seen it, I was really young too.
So I was about her age that she is in this movie, which was about 12 years old.
But I had seen it like, I think in the two thousands, early two thousands, maybe.
And I was like, This girl knows what's up.
She knows what's what.
Natalie Portman fucking rocks because she's cussing, she's smoking, she's doing it all.
And then I watched it this time and I watched Natalie Portman's performance, which was, I will say, outstanding.
But shit gets
weird in this.
Yeah.
Do you know, brother, so the first time I, so I remember seeing the cover for Leon in the video stores and like HMV, you know, places that sell DVDs, VHS, and just looking at it and risking over it.
Like, that looks boring as fuck.
Don't know what that is.
Some guy called Leon.
And it was either Mark Kermode, who's a famous film reviewer over here, or there was another, there was an Irish guy that used to be on BBC Two.
I can't remember his name.
Did like an introduction to the film, like a 10, 15 minute intro.
And I started watching this intro and was like, fuck, this looks dope.
