Today, we're going to do two very different Chinese dramas.
I'm giggling not because they're both really funny, but because you and I were talking about it out beforehand.
We're like, huh, how do you even like tie these two together? Because usually there's some sort of commonalities.
And you came upon an epiphany today and you said, wow, these are like polar opposite stories.
Yeah, they are.
I mean, honestly, the only commonality is that they both star very tall actors.
So the two stories, one is Genius Girlfriend or Tian Cai Nu You, starring Tian Xiwei and Hu Yitian.
The other one is a vertical drama, but it's an adaptation of a fairly well-known IP by the same author as Overdue.
I know, we just can't let Overdue go, or it won't let us go.
Anyways, it was my choice, Juniper, so I'll explain when we get to their why.
I don't even know if there's an English name for it, but there was a version also in drama form in 2011, so a long time ago, that was, I think, fairly well known, called Sealed with a Kiss.
So let's just refer to this as Sealed with a Kiss's remake, even though it's more probably a straight adaptation of the source novel.
And the Chinese name of this vertical in the novel is called Qian Shan Mu Xue.
