I also think there's like some parallels because not just because the same actor is playing the male lead, but I would say Hui Tian's character is warmer in this one because in A Love So Beautiful, he's kind of the cold and aloof neighbor, like the boy next door that she pines after.

Shen Yue is the female lead in that one.

And she's kind of the not so bright kid in the school.

So he's almost beyond her reach.
