And I know that we did this because Manitoba Hydro employees were going back to downtown office for the Wednesdays that they used to be working from home from, and we wanted to have a more general conversation about just work-life balance and thriving.
A lot of people pushed back on the text line and said, well, you know, some people would take advantage.
For sure, some people are when they're at home and they're getting laundry done and taking dogs for walks and all that.
But in the general consensus of life, I want to revisit this topic because I had so much people email me, so many people rather email me, so many people text yesterday's show.
And I'll get to more of this after we revisit our guest from yesterday about this is it doesn't have to do with specifically like hydro or other companies or everything.
And I understand the sort of how it looks if some employees in a company get to be at home, some don't, all that stuff.
I think we need to get out of this realm of doing everything generally together in the same fashion for everybody.
I find even in our own company here, some people's jobs are different than others, and some people, I don't hold it against them if they get to do certain things because their job is different than mine.
The other part I want to bring up about this discussion is, I think how we live life and work life especially is antiquated.
We're designed in our work lives, the eight hours a day, 40 hours a week from the 50s and 60s.
But I don't want to say that because I don't believe in that, right? I believe in a partnership and I believe that everybody can do laundry.
