What do they do? And there's usually a mission statement and there's usually some values and they are just religious and dedicated and devoted to their vision statement and to their values.
When Coke exploded, the leaders of Coke were like, we won't be satisfied until every single person on earth has a drink of Coca-Cola, okay? We as Christ followers should have that same level of devotion.
We won't be satisfied until everybody drinks and tastes and sees that the Lord is good.
on the fifth Sunday or fourth Sunday of each month, very soon accenting those and bringing those to the forefront so people know who we're supporting and what's going on there.
We are a missions-giving and a mission-sending church, and we believe that the whole world needs to hear the gospel.
The whole world needs to repent and believe the gospel because the blood of Jesus is enough for whomsoever would believe, amen? And so we're looking at the DNA of this early church and there's this paragraph, there's this section at the end of Acts 2 and there's a similar one in Acts 4 that just give us a picture of the dynamic and power of God working through the early church.
And then what did they do after that? Verse 42 tells us in Acts chapter 2, "...and they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.
And all who believed were together and had all things in common." And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all as any had need.
