Mike and Steve catch up on physique updates, prep timing, judging, and a weekend of competition watchalongs. They also answer listener questions about knee pain, training progression, supplement…
I'm trying to think, was there anything interesting that happened? Probably the most interesting thing, Ada turned eight last week.
Literally just on my walk now, she was so eager to go say hi to this person, whereas I don't really want her to because he was like, clearly homeless and he looked a bit dodgy but she was really really pulling and so i was like man like and he was very interested so i was i can't just pull her away so i let her like and she just went crazy all over him uh he was loving it thankfully uh but yeah he couldn't believe she was eight years old and she does not behave like it she still behaves like a puppy uh it's really just a few gray hairs to give it away so that's amazing and kind of coinciding with that it was a good excuse to get me and Because Charlotte has been wanting to do a few – there's like a London Circular, and there's a bunch of walks that you can do regarding that.
But anyway, interrelated to that, she follows some accounts that suggest hikes that are near London, so – We went and did this hike, which was pretty nice.
It was it was really nice to be just like together walking there and again out of London in nature.
The most unfortunate thing is, Mike, Charlotte had it that it was going to take us 45 minutes to get there.
We can just save the, I don't know how over much it was, like 30 quid that we'd save.
But like I said, if we were going to get back really late, like gone 10 or something, I'd have done it.
