Dementia, which is the umbrella term, but most cases of dementia are Alzheimer's disease.

And I hear like there's so many of my own clients and they're like, oh, you know, I've just found out like our father-in-law or our father has been diagnosed.

I mean, what does conventional medicine offer in terms of this sort of work? And then so why are we looking at now more natural and obviously preventative work? But what is the conventional? If someone comes into your clinic with Alzheimer's or dementia, what is a conventional general practice?

The general course would be that people might come in and say that they know something's up.

Often the response from a doctor is to do a 30-point test, a mocker test, to see if there's any detectable symptoms.

If deficits are picked up on that test, then we're already talking about MCI, mild cognitive impairment.

But as people progress, if they get a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment, they might be offered a medication that makes the neurotransmitters in their brain hang around for longer.
