WWE SMNE NYC Recap plus we Preview AEW's newest PPV installment.

We're coming off of Saturday Night's Main Event from Madison Square Garden this past Saturday night.

Saturday Night's Main Event, last week I advertised Saturday Night's Main Event on this show.

I kind of said a little bit about the fact that it felt like a SummerSlam pre-show.

After watching it, it really just felt like a New York Knicks pep rally.

What did you feel about Saturday Night's main event? I mean, not saying it was a horrible show or anything like that.

What did you feel about it overall? Did it do anything for SummerSlam for you? Was it really just a big promo for Fanatics Fest and all that was going on in New York City this weekend? What was your takeaway from the Saturday's main event where we did not get a change in a stipulation that was made on SmackDown, where Gunther was not added to the championship match and it was made official.

Nick Aldis will be in the match against Gunther at SummerSlam.

Yeah, I mean, I think it, I mean, you let it off there with, you know, Fanatics Fest Extra, I guess.

Like, it's, that's kind of where it is.

I mean, I enjoyed it because I'm a Knicks fan.

You're a Knicks fan.

I know you're not as much of a fan these days.

But yeah, I mean, it really was kind of like a New York Knicks celebration, Fanatics style.

Maybe it's like.

I would call it Fanatics Fest New York Knicks edition kind of a thing.

I mean, from what we got, I thought it was entertaining.

You know, I did have my cousin over.

We got some pizza and some wings and enjoyed the festivity.

So it was fun to watch.

I mean, you know, going through the matches, there was that title change.

Which we did not

predict.

I didn't predict that.

Yeah, I mean, Fatal Influence, I mean, cool on them.

I mean, I'm happy about it.
