You know, it's interesting, Devin, what you say, because at Grace Marriage, it's like a broken record where we say that time is the container a marriage grows in.

And so if you have a small container of time, you're going to have a small marriage that fails to mature and just might die.

But if you give it a big pot of time, know so when i talk to folks that describe their marriage like you do that describe their wife like you do the commonality i see is a lot of one-on-one time together with nobody else around you know so yeah so i guess you know if you're a listener you know i just really encourage you that Sowing and reaping, it's in the Bible and it's real.

Unless you sow a lot of time in your marriage, you're not going to reap from your marriage because you can try to grow in communication.

But if you don't have time to do that in, it's like saying UK basketball is going to be great this year, but they're only going to practice five minutes a day because they're all so busy because they're all so busy because of youth sports.

I was in a counseling session just a couple of weeks ago with a young, younger couple, and they were telling me about the problems, telling me about some of the struggles in their marriage.

And I asked a simple question, what you just asked, tell me about your weekly rhythm and when you spend time together.

And they stopped and they kind of looked at each other, looked back at me and they were like, well, we don't really have a regular rhythm of when we spend time together.

And I said, okay, so when do you inadvertently spend time together? And basically it was like, well, whenever he's at home and I'm at home and we end up making a meal together or something, but it was not intentional at all.

So one of my assignments was this next week, I just want you to have time together.

Just go spend time with each other and learn to enjoy being in the same room together because they hadn't even spent time with each other.

They were like, man, it's amazing how many things we talked about that we hadn't talked about in a few years.

And frankly, one of the reasons people like Grace Marriage is because they spend more time together in one session they have in the last three months.
