Cheech & Chong's Next Movie (1980) | Episode 420, Stoner Shenanigans & Peak Comedy Chaos 🌿🚐😂

This week on *The Good, The Bad, and The Sequel*, we had a change of plans. The sequel we originally wanted to cover, **McBride: Semper Fi**, was only available in a grainy, nearly unwatchable version, so for our **420th episode,** we pivoted to something much more appropriate: **Cheech & Chong's Next Movie**. And honestly? It may have been fate. The iconic comedy duo returns for a sequel that somehow manages to be even more ridiculous, meandering, and hilarious than the original. There's no real plot, no real destination, and somehow that's exactly the point. We dig into everything, including: 🌿 Why Cheech & Chong perfected the "hangout movie" long before it became a thing 🚐 The nonstop stream of sketches, side quests, and complete nonsense that somehow works 😂 Chong's cousin Red and one of the greatest sequel character substitutions ever 🎭 How Cheech and Chong's chemistry carries every scene, no matter how insane it gets 🔥 The movie's place in comedy history and why it still has a devoted fanbase decades later 🎬 The memorable cameos, weird encounters, and endlessly quotable moments 😆 Why the lack of a traditional plot somehow makes the movie more entertaining 💨 The perfect choice for Episode 420 and a reminder that sometimes movies just need to be fun Whether you're a longtime fan or watching it for the first time, *Cheech & Chong's Next Movie* remains a unique piece of comedy history that could only have come from this legendary duo. 🎥 **Watch the full, unedited video review:** 👉 sequelsonly.com/cheechandchong 🎬 **Next Up: Actor Jim Klock 🎭** We sit down with actor **Jim Klock**, who shared his incredible journey from police officer to actor and filmmaker. Jim talks about how working off-duty security at a movie theater helped fuel his passion for movies and ultimately changed the course of his life. We also discuss his new film **Chum**, out now, starring Jim alongside **Alice Eve**. 📲 Follow us everywhere: **@sequelsonly** 🌐 Visit the site: **sequelsonly.com** 💬 Don't forget to rate, review, and share with friends, enemies, neighbors, exes... and anyone who has ever gone out for one thing and somehow ended up on a completely different adventure. 🍩🌿🚐😂
