Josh HorowitzGUEST
22:01
Yeah.
Josh HorowitzGUEST
22:02
Hmm.
William RamseyGUEST
64:56
I don't know if I can share it, but it just goes into the kind of dark occult concept of the Tesseract.
William RamseyGUEST
65:03
But how it's used in one of the interesting things that will blow your mind is if you remember that weird interview between Tucker Carlson and Kevin Spacey.
William RamseyGUEST
65:13
Do you remember the Christmas trees? Do you remember that?
Seth HolehouseHOST
65:16
No. OK, there was a
William RamseyGUEST
65:18
It's kind of a weird thing, but like was after Spacey got exposed and he like lost a lot of his thing.
William RamseyGUEST
65:25
But they're like sitting around and there's like a pillow Tesseract right there between them.
William RamseyGUEST
65:32
Tucker Carlson, who I don't trust at all, and Kevin Spacey.
Seth HolehouseHOST
65:35
But it shows up.
ScottHOST
46:26
Sam Rockwell almost backed out after winning the lead role in an independent film.
ScottHOST
46:32
But Kevin Spacey convinced him otherwise, and he stayed in Galaxy Quest.
ScottHOST
46:36
Thank you to Kevin Spacey.
JasonHOST
46:38
It was, yeah.
ScottHOST
46:40
Kevin Spacey things going on in recent times.
JasonHOST
46:43

watch House of Cards? And I know it's with Kevin Spacey and the whole thing.
CatHOST
21:09
I mean, I wonder what it would be like now.

Shane ContoHOST

And this movie, it's from Grant Heslov, who's George Clooney's friend and fellow filmmaker.
Shane ContoHOST
70:04
And this movie has Ewan McGregor, George Clooney, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Spacey, Nick Offerman, Stephen Root, Stephen Lang, and just the character work alone in this is so great that there's so many fun, memorable characters in this movie.
Shane ContoHOST
70:22
And, you know, some of the most, like, it certainly has tonal issues because it goes from, like, this silly kind of, like, weird story about this offset of the military, and then it does get really kind of heavy dealing with military industrial complex and effects like experimentation on soldiers has and stuff like that but George Clooney and Jeff Bridges in this movie are so excellent Jeff Bridges as this guy who goes on like this six year hippie journey to come back to the military and start this and he's just the most Jeff Bridges character you're gonna find it's just so it's a such a strange movie and it's quite funny at times it has a couple affecting moments too and has great needle drops and it's one of those weird quirky movies that didn't work at all but certainly works a decent amount to make it a fun time um like i said i don't think i think grant teslav has a very uneven track record as a filmmaker and him and george clooney i guess in general both of them together do but like this is just one of those like i remember when this movie came out and i saw all the people in it same and this the concept of it i'm like they stare at goats until they stop a goat's heart strange idea it was such a fun time re-watching that last night

i watched that movie when it came out it was so fun like exactly only on the same page like it's not a perfect movie but it's a fun movie also so the title of men who started goats In Czech, the word goat, kozy, is a slang term for boobs.
JamieGUEST

In a sense.
JamieGUEST
30:09
They did that with, when you look at House of Cards, for instance, when Kevin Spacey's character, Frank Underwood, he would often turn to the camera and say these very cold lines, but he would get you in on his plans.
JamieGUEST
30:26
So it's like a weight sits with you.
JamieGUEST
30:28
It's like, am I kind of to blame? Yeah.
Jim KwikHOST
39:10
Does that make sense? Has anyone ever seen that movie? It was Negotiator with Samuel L.
Jim KwikHOST

Jackson and Kevin Spacey.
Jim KwikHOST
39:17
Anyone see that? Raise your hand.
Jim KwikHOST

Remember the scene where Samuel Jackson was interrogating somebody and he says, you're lying.
David AmlinGUEST
35:17
Um, we used to do a lot of work with Phil Ramone and we became friends over the years.
David AmlinGUEST

Um, and it fills Memorial, uh, Kevin Spacey, who had starred in the Bobby Darin movie, and this was before Kevin got canceled.
David AmlinGUEST
35:32
This was when he was still a big star and a lot of fans.
David AmlinGUEST
35:38
He got up there to talk about Phil and talk about working at Abbey Road.
Alex JonesHOST
50:35
But since we mentioned 9-11, let's just play Larry Silverstein on a PBS documentary that was narrated by another nice fellow.
Alex JonesHOST
50:43
You know, the guy that hosted House of Cards, Kevin Spacey.
Alex JonesHOST
50:47
And here he is talking about getting the order to pull it and watch the building come down.
Alex JonesHOST
50:51
And then we've got a little comedy piece.
JohnHOST
5:56
His performance in this movie is incredible.
JohnHOST
5:58
I think this was the year that Kevin Spacey won, and I'm like, man, that's a cursed award win in hindsight, but it's like, man, he would have just cleaned up if everyone knew he was sick, but Very much like the character he's playing, he kind of kept that close to his chest and didn't want to reveal that.
JohnHOST
6:14
Very excited to get into this movie.
JohnHOST
6:16
I guess we'll get some time to discuss it.
