She discovered thrifting as a teenager in the 90s and quickly fell in love with the secondhand fashion as a form of creative expression.
After spending 15 years as a teacher, Desiree followed her passion for vintage by working at Nashville's iconic Hip Zipper before launching her own business.
Over the years, Electrical Banana Vintage has evolved through several iterations, ultimately finding success in through virtual shopping experiences, live online sales, and meaningful customer connections.
Today, Desiree combines personal styling, storytelling, and community building to give vintage clothing a meaningful second life.
She also offers virtual personalized shopping appointments and welcomes clients to shop her collection in person through private appointment-only visits in her Nashville studio.
