Send us Fan Mail OK Guys, it's time for a brand new episode of the fix podcast! in Today's episode we discuss all the recent news surrounding the…
That's, that's the goal I'm aiming for here, but, uh, Gary, what a, what a decent game the other night against the Buffalo Sabres.
The Habs, they still never went out and won that big game that I'm waiting for.
I'm, I'm waiting for them to just blow a team out of the water, you know what I mean? Go and run away with it, go up by four or five goals.
Totally.
A lot of the games are going into overtime, but I mean, they're winning.
Points, points.
They're getting points.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
The thing about Buffalo is, well, I guess if you wanna look at it from a negative point of view, is that Buffalo's getting points too, you know what I mean? You get an opportunity to close out a team and-
Yeah
... create some separation instead of going four points up on them.
You're, essentially it's the same as going 500 against, against them, you know what I mean? They managed to get two points out of the last two games we played.
Um, I think the big thing is that, that killer instinct, right? Like, they've been in games and they've been dominant in games, and they've had leads in games.
But they let teams, they let teams creep back in, and they, they fail to kinda close them out, you know what I mean? Like, they had a power play when they were up by two in this one, and then, uh, they came up short, and then Buffalo scored shortly after, and all of a sudden this is a one-goal game.
And actually, they gave up a shorthanded goal.
So, uh, you know, it's, it's one of those things where they really just, they aren't closing stuff out.
Even though you look at the stats, I mean, uh, you know, shots, I was watching your video this morning before I came in.
Like, they didn't have a shot for the first 10 minutes last night.
But they had a, they had some opportunities out last night with the Montreal Canadiens.
They had some opportunities but just didn't miss, hit the net.
But then when they got rolling, man, did they ever get rolling.
You know what I mean? They dominated.
And, and they've been going through patches in most games the last four or five, where they do, they dominate for large portions of the game.
And with the skill they have, with the shot generation they're putting up, you'd expect the results to be, I mean, the results out there, you said they've won three out of four.
