Teofimo Lopez Beats Romero | Serrano Survives Manzur! Moses Itauma Chases Youngest Champ Since Tyson

The main event of the evening that was at the T-Mobile arena, Las Vegas, Nevada, Tio Fimo Lopez versus Raleigh Romero.

Romero entered as the champion.

Tio's debut at 147 pounds at the welterweight division.

And we talked about the lead up, you know, Teofimo Lopez, eight months ago, very disappointing performance versus Shakur Stevenson.

Tough style.

Tough style, a different level.

And Riley Romero, biggest win of his career, about 15 months ago versus Ryan Garcia.

But he didn't really capitalize on that because he sat around and he waited.

And maybe a lot of ring inactivity and some ring rust heading into this one.

It was a very tactical fight, but not a whole lot of action.

The first five rounds were pretty close.

And the biggest action came by Romero buzzing Lopez and cutting him.

and then after that things changed and lopez was in complete control i thought romero just didn't let his hands go enough wasn't that how much lopez did it was a little bit of also what romero wasn't doing uh it seemed like he wasn't even interested in listening to instructions in his corner

man not at all

lopez doubled up the jab went to the body and he boxed his way as romero was looking to box and counter most of the night as i said not being active enough in the end The shocking thing to me was majority decision.

I did not see it that way.

I thought Lopez won the last seven rounds of the fight.

But with that said, I just want to get your take.

What'd you think of the decision? What'd you think of the fight?

Well, listen, the first thing I got to do, and I pride myself in this, that when I think something's wrong, I call it out.

I call it out, even to my detriment.

On my own network, I say, no, we did this wrong.

We didn't put a good fight on, or we overhyped this guy, or this judge was terrible.

And I've often gone after Cheatham, What's his first name? Tim.

Oh, Timmy.
