And so many dentists think that if I'm booked out four or five weeks, that it makes me the better dentist.

It's like, if you go to a host and she says, no, we don't have a next available for four weeks.

Even if they say it's a 45 minute wait, I'm not like, oh man, this place must be really good.

It's like, you're the most thrilled when the person is like, yeah, I'll get you seated right now.

And I'll tell you right now that, that in today's world, Like it's never been easier to get new patients because of when COVID hit and there was a hygienist shortage, right? Everybody started to get booked out three, four weeks, things like that.

And a lot of the dentists out there really don't understand the true value of the hygiene appointment, which leads to the exam, which leads to the restorative.

And they just look at, well, a hygienist costs $75 an hour and I only get $75 for the prophy.

So what's the point of having a hygienist here? And so these practices are still booked out three, four weeks, some of them six months.

And if you get a hygienist in there and you're talking on the phone, like you said, Colin, and you're like, yeah, we have availability tonight.

Even though this is a new patient, we've identified that these patients are referring other people to your practice.
