World Cup takes & more with Agustín Anello

The first couple of months at the club obviously have been difficult for the team on the field, but you had a couple of successful moments.

You scored a goal against Atlanta, which was great, but then unfortunately you got an injury that left you out for a little bit over a month.

What was that like for you, coming into a new team and then having to overcome an injury and not being able to be with the guys on the pitch week in and week out?

Well, when you come into a new team and a new environment, obviously the intention is leaving everything and more sometimes just to get caught up in the preseason that they were having too.

But looking back on the Atlanta game, it was great to score, and I was playing on it for like 15 minutes.

I couldn't really run.

But it was a hard time, to be honest.

But In that time, I think it helped me to be sure of the process of things.

And even though we're going through a hard time now, the sun still is going to come out.

And those times pass.

We play a dynamic sport.

We live in a dynamic world.

So bad times are now, but good are to come.

So I think this is the perfect time for our extra mile moment presented by Reid Mintol, Subaru of Exton.

Since you arrived in Philly, was there a teammate or staff member who went the extra mile to maybe help you during your injury and help you make that recovery? Oh,

yeah, 100%.

Pauly.

Pauly was, oh.

He was a psychologist to me, to be honest.

He helped me in every way possible.

That guy can tell 1,500 jokes in a span of two seconds.

He really is.

And I don't know, sharing our faith also together really helped me a lot, talking about the daily struggles and how Jesus and how we can overcome it.

So that was great.

So can you explain to fans who might not know, some fans do know Pauly quite well.
