Um, about two-thirds of that is coming from individuals, nineteen percent from foundations, eight percent giving by request, and last but not least, seven percent by corporations.

And while you might say, "Well, that's the least," let's remind ourselves that that's forty-four point four billion dollars annually.

And I also wanna point out that this, the giving by corporations increased a remarkable nine point one percent year over year.

So that's a really exciting, um, you know, trends, particularly for those of us focusing on economic development and chambers of commerce because corporations tend to be our primary audience.

Um, but let's not forget the, the important role that foundations play and in some cases even individual giving.

Where did the charitable dollars go? First and foremost, religion is at the top, and then we go to r- health, human services, education, foundation, public society benefit, health, et cetera.

Now, we don't see economic development on here as a category, but what we all know and our job when we go out to fundraise is that economic development is an umbrella that then captures many of these components.

Some of the things that we raise money for, affordable housing, um, infrastructure improvements, um, site readiness, um, along with business attraction, retention, expansion.

Five hundred and ninety-two billion dollars, and they're giving more and more every year.

So Clint's gonna bring us back to some of the things we've been seeing specifically in the marketplace, um, as of late.
