How do you get your position leveraged for long-term success? So picking up where Clint just talked about strategic planning, um, we feel that long-term strategic, uh, competitiveness rests on three factors: sound data, strategic focus And funding to, to drive your work forward.

Erin SammisGUEST
And the first step in that process is really having a proactive long-term strategic plan.

Erin SammisGUEST
And you can have a strategic plan that is, you know, capitalized and informed by consultant reports, or you can do, you know, if you're a small shop, you gotta put down what are your activities that you're gonna deliver on? What are your priorities over the next year, three, five years? And what outcomes and, um, are you, uh, planning to achieve, and what is the impact you're going, uh, to make in your community? That well-defined strategy gives you the roadmap, your stakeholders, um, the plan and the confidence to move forward.

Erin SammisGUEST
Do we have the resources we need to be successful? Um, and if you can do that on the front end, you'll save ev- you, you know, yourself and your team, um, all the time, and, and, and you're setting yourself up for success.

Erin SammisGUEST
Um, so that's taking a look at your capacity, your resources, um, your leadership, um, and your, and your dollars.
