Tight Ten: NFC News, Notes, & Analysis | Aug 17

All right, let's start with the NFC and talk about the Cowboys.

Cowboys didn't play CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Brian Flournoy, Jake Ferguson, Brevin Spanford.

They basically played all backups, but the only insight that we really got from the team was really about this RB2 role where Jaden Blue took most of the snaps um to start the game and then had phil moffa fill in uh he got a little bit of the snaps with jayden blue too um with the with the quote-unquote first team and then malik davis worked in behind them right now it seems and it's been seeming this way since um you know basically march uh from what the team has said right now it seems like the rb2 role is Some sort of combination of Jaden Blue and Phil Moffa.

I would say Jaden Blue is also potentially going to work in as like a complimentary back with Javante Williams that has not changed.

And Phil Moffa would maybe work in as a more so like Hammer, Thunder, version of that backfield.

So the roles are getting a little bit more defined.

It's good to see that all of the news and notes that we have provided are basically playing out that way for us.

And it means volumes that guys like George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, Ryan Flournoy, and even Kevontae Turpin, Jake Ferguson, Brevin Spanford did not play.

That means that they have a clear leg up in their rooms, that they're going to completely separate, that there's no concern about those guys and their playing time moving forward, which is exciting to me because it's good to have a clear room.

And this is a top offense, so you just want to keep taking shots on the different aspects of that team.
