Bills kind of left themselves a little bit light at receiver.

They went five receivers.

And to me, what that signals is that they feel comfortable with this room, the way that it's constructed.

Obviously, we just saw Skylar Bell perform pretty well in that last preseason game, which I tweeted about.

He kind of profiles, we saw in the preseason that he played a little bit of Z and he played a little bit of slot.

So he kind of profiles as either that wide receiver three, potentially taking on Keon Coleman or Joshua Palmer's role eventually, or slotting in if Khalil Shakir were to miss some time to slot into that role, given the fact that they showed a little bit of dual purpose with him there.

He looked really good.

I could see him coming on by the end of the season and performing really well for this team, especially because I just, you know, with Keon Coleman, we've had multiple seasons already of seeing what happens.

He's not a separator.

So that means like he's not generating any, he's not doing anything to generate distance between him and the defender when the defender is like kind of somewhat matched up on them it's not directly man-to-man but within that zone coverage or man-to-man uh and and so most of his receptions end up being stuff like hey well he was pretty wide open like he sat in a hole um that the defense kind of created uh or they do contested catch opportunities for him and that's just not sustainable long term So I think Skylar Bell has a real opportunity to take on this wide receiver three role eventually this season, as long as he can stay healthy.

He missed part of training camp, so there's some concern there.

But he did look good at OTAs, obviously underwear Olympics.

But beyond that, I thought his film from the preseason was pretty nice.

I'm going to exit out as many ads as I can.

But this was the preferred website I like to use for the rosters and stuff because it's all updated.

Outside of that, we saw the team keep a fourth tight end.

I don't think that really means much, I guess.

So part of me thinks, like, they decided not to go with a fullback for the Bills.

So they kept this fourth tight end.

I think that just gives them some depth in case they decide they want to use one as kind of like a pseudo fullback on certain plays, like Jackson Hawes or, yeah.

or somebody else.

So I think that, you know, they still can operate with a quote-unquote fullback, even though they're a tight end.

Call them an H-back if you want.

And then at running back, I thought it was meaningful that they didn't keep anybody else like Ian Wheeler because Ty Johnson has been dealing with injury, hasn't come back.

He has been spotted kind of like on a side field.
