The Path Preachers Should Take and the Ditches on Either Side (Mike Bullmore)

[gentle music] There's a little ditty that I heard it many years ago, and I [laughs] I use it as often as I can.

"Run, John, run, the law demands, but gives us neither feet nor hands.

Much better news the Gospel brings.

It bids us fly and gives us wings." So there is a call the Gospel has.

But, you know, one of the most wonderful promises in your Bible, God has given us, he's provided for us everything we need for life and godliness.

Mike Bullmore served as the founding and senior pastor of Crossway Community Church in Bristol, Wisconsin for 25 years, and he now spends his time in various venues helping to train the next generation of Christian leaders and pastors.

His new book with Crossway is called The Heart of Preaching: The Functional Centrality of the Gospel in the Life and Work of the Preacher.
