In this episode of the Cross Culture Podcast, we're bearing our hearts and having honest conversations about a variety of things; from being diligent at work to what it really means to be a Christian…
The thing that has been, so two things for me, to be honest.
For me, the first thing that has been on my mind is the fact that I don't want to just be a professional Christian because I think I've gotten to the point in my faith that I've heard, you know, when you've heard the primary things of the faith over and like, you've gotten to the point
where, yeah,
that kind of thing.
And it can get to the point where you're just going through the motions, especially when you are in service.
when I say in service I don't mean in church service like especially when you are serving in God's house you can get to the point where you're just doing things just for doing sake it's just routine like so much so that even the same one you are just there just to pass you are there okay let me just come attend And it's something that consistently I've been trying to keep myself from getting to that point that, Lord, I don't want to do this Christian work just because.
I don't want to do this Christian work and, you know, and just be saving just because, you know, I'm reliable, consistent or competent.
I actually won't.
to be changed consistently.
I've become so familiar with you.
I've become so familiar with your presence that contradictions are something that, you know, that is now normative.
They are not just things that when they happen, I'm shocked again.
There are things that when they happen, I'm just like...
Oh yeah, no, just, I don't want to get in that way.
Right? Because by default, you know, by default, that personality, I'm an introvert.
And that's not something, being bold and outspoken is not something that comes naturally to me.
It's something that, you know, I've been growing in and I've been learning.
And I thank God for a lot of the exposure, you know, that has had, that has forced me.
know, graciously,
you know, put in your life.
To me too, you know, and my friends, obviously, you know, to me too.
If I talk now, mention us now, we know small for your life.
