Is there such thing as too much volume slash miles? We can say kilometers as well, right? How to know what's the sweet spot? Man, that is a short question with a long-ish answer.

Your bandwidth, your athletic history, your injury resilience, your comorbidities, right? And a little bit of trial and error goes into this.

You take somebody who runs zero miles a week, who might have some talent in their DNA, who has some capability.

Then they get to college and have a so-so career if they run in college or maybe just don't run collegiately.

We know that miles make champions when it comes to distance running for the most part, especially 10K half marathon marathon.

There's a few outliers where maybe they're just so incredibly talented and they've got certain considerations where maybe lower volume approach can work.
