I Cot You Babe

So HassatCon is here.

I was saying on the Midweek or on the Patreon that I was getting very excited because HassatCon got a mention on Friday, and I was starting to imagine all the weird and wonderful things that might abound with a sci-fi conference in Ambridge.

We questioned as to why it would be called HassatCon, didn't we?

We did.

I'm gonna break with tradition here.

[upbeat music] Pedant's Corner.

Pedant's Corner.

Badger, badger, badger.

Angus says, "Amber Badger Alert.

HassatCon will be named after the Hassat Hills, which are to the north of Ambridge." Facts matter.

"Brookfield sell their lamb as part of a co-op under the Hassat Hills brand." I find that explanation really unsatisfactory, Angus.

[laughs]

Yes.

So that is why it's being held in Grey Gables but is called HassatCon.

I guess it is, yeah.

I mean, I'm not saying that you telling me that is unsatisfactory.

I don't think it's a good enough excuse to call it HassatCon.

It's no shade on Angus.

And there was me waffling on about Penny Hassat 'cause I thought the HassatCon was in Penny Hassat, but the people were staying at Grey Gables who were attending the con.

That's what I assumed, too.

We went straight into sort of sci-fi realms first thing on Sunday with that robot being mentioned.

Yeah, Mr. Weaver had lost his KY robot or something.

[laughs] That's always happening in hotels, isn't it?

[laughs] Yeah, excuse me, I think, uh, housekeeping might have taken something with them.

[laughs] It's a Doctor Who thing, isn't it? I looked it up.
